The reservation process for the Hunter College dormitory is now available.
Located three blocks away from the conference site, the Hunter College resident dormitories will provide confreence participants an affordable choice for the 2008 SDS conference. The cost for a room at the Hunter College dorm will be $65 per day.
Please look at the following notes to determine wehther you wish to reserve a room at the Hunter dormitory. Use the procedures defined below to make your reservation.

wheel-chair accessible room limited rooms available. They will be granted on a first-come first-serve basis
room equipped with accommodations for deaf or hard of hearing participants
regular room
Each room consists of:
a single, height-adjustable bed
a desk
a chair
internet availability (for and additional cost of $37)
Shared bathroms
The room will not have:
iron and ironing board
air conditioning
television
The rooms can be setup for maximum maneuverability
Television in a lounge may be available
The cost for Each day's stay at the dormitory will be $65. Individuals wishing to take advantage of these rates must make arrangements through the registration form and payments must be made at the time of reservation. The cost for using the internet at the facility is $37 per person for the entire stay. Rooms will not be available after June 10, 2008.
Steps for reserving
If you have already registered for the conference, use one of these two methods to change your registration options to include a reservation for the dorm.
Method 1
Open the confirmation e-mail message you received when you registered for the conference. The message came from lisa.pollich.
Choose the link provided in the message to view your registration record.
On the resulting page, choose the "change registration" link to alter your registration record.
When prompted, please enter your password for the registration system and choose the "continue" link. If you do not recall your password, please use the link provided to have a temporary password e-mailed to you
On the resulting page, choose the "lodging and food" tab.
When the "lodging and Food" page comes up, use the fields provided to reserve your room and choose "continue."
On the "theater & other" page, indicate the number of nights you will stay at the dorm. Also indicate whether you wish to purchase internet service for the duration of your stay.
Navigate to continue and complete your registration changes.
Choose "existing" in order to make changes to your registration.
In the two entry fields provided for that purpose, enter your e-mail address and reenter it for confirmation.
Choose "continue."

On the resulting page, choose the "lodging and food" tab.
When the "lodging and Food" page comes up, use the fields provided to reserve your room and choose "continue."

Navigate to continue and complete your registration changes.
If you are registering for the first time, you will find the dorm reservation option included on the "lodging and food" section of the registration form.
